Electrician: Full Time - 4 Day Wk | Diverse Projects incl. Medical & Commercial

SRE Electrical is growing, and we're looking for a qualified electrician to join our South-East Queensland team.
This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of medical, commercial and industrial sites, with a strong focus on the healthcare sector. You'll enjoy varied work, ongoing development opportunities, and the support of a close‑knit team, all while benefiting from a 4-day work week.

What you'll be doing:

Working independently and alongside our experienced team, your responsibilities will include:

Maintenance and fault‑finding across commercial and industrial facilities, many within the medical sector

Electrical installations, upgrades and repair work

Data cabling installation and maintenance

Compliance testing, including test and tag services

Supporting electrical construction and project work

Mentoring and assisting apprentices

Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance

Collaborating with management to ensure smooth and safe daily operations

Following procedures and maintaining compliance standards

Representing SRE with professionalism to build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and service





Delivering excellent client service through strong communication skills

Contributing positively to daily operations and team success

Required qualifications:

Current Queensland Electrical Licence

Current Driver's Licence

Ability to pass a National Police Check

Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)

Construction White Card

Highly regarded:

Experience within healthcare or medical environments

Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules)

Knowledge of AS/NZS 3003 (Electrical Installations – Patient Areas)

Experience with AS/NZS 4024 Machinery Safety Standards

Data, communications and security experience

EWPA Yellow Card (Scissor Lift)

Security Licence
