Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance across the business. This is a hands‑on role suited to a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic workplace.
About your new role
Statutory requirements and compliance including BAS, FBT, Payroll tax
General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
Manage bank accounts, credit cards and banking relationship
Mentoring of junior staff
Preparation of end of month reporting
Ad doc duties as needed
About you
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting.
Minimum three years’ experience in an accounting role.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
Sound proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Experience working to a deadline and prioritising workload
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to interact with stakeholders
Professionally mannered with good written and verbal communication skills
Willing to learn with a positive approach to tasks and a strong attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and able to work both independently and part of a team
