Wiseway Logistics is a fast-growing global freight forwarding company (ASX listed), with our head office located in Sydney, other offices across major capital cities in Australia, and international branches in the USA, New Zealand, Singapore, and China. We have provided years of logistics services, including export and import services, as well as transportation and warehouse solutions to our large client base.

Due to continued business expansion, we have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor to join our warehouse team in Sydney on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, working collaboratively with management to ensure seamless workflows, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and driving efficiency across warehouse functions in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes:

- Warehouse management, including staff (including casuals), workload, rosters, compliance, and regulations
- Taking responsibility for quarantine and customs warehouse management
- Ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse
- Managing and maintaining a S77G licensed depot
- Acting as a key point of contact with ABF and Quarantine for inspections
- Leading and directing warehouse activities to meet operational performance targets




- Ensuring all goods/cargo/freight are accurately scanned and labelled in the warehouse management system
- Managing and sorting inbound and outbound freight to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Unloading and loading freight from incoming transport carriers
- Picking and packing and performing forklift operations
- Ensuring strict compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company guidelines
- Completing all tasks within required timelines and in accordance with procedures
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment at all times in accordance with WHS standards and policies
- Acting as a liaison between senior management and warehouse staff
- Other reasonable tasks as required by management

Skills/experience needed:

- Current Forklift Licence (Essential )
- Strong warehouse and operational experience
- Previous warehouse team leader or supervisory experience (Desirable )
- Able to work one day on the weekend (Essential )
- Robust knowledge of compliance requirements
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to delegate, manage, and motivate a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Computer knowledge/proficiency (Desirable )
