Koi Broadbeach is a modern Australian restaurant in the heart of Broadbeach and part of the Gennari Group hospitality portfolio. A local institution since 2006, Koi serves fresh, locally sourced food for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week, in a stylish, coastal setting with a stunning open kitchen. We are seeking an experienced, motivated and talented Chef to join our energetic kitchen team.

Qualifications | Experience | Tasks

- Relevant experience (min.



2 years)
- Trade Qualifications in Commercial Cookery
- Ability to multi-task and have great time management skills
- Ability to maintain high standards under pressure
- Following hygiene and safety procedures
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and work efficiently
- Developing and maintaining service standards in a premium restaurant environment to ensure a world-class hospitality experience
- Preparing modern Australian dishes using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce
- Working confidently in an open kitchen in view of guests
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Prepping, portioning and cooking food
- Plating food with attention to detail
- Immediate start for the right applicant.
