The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation – Caboolture QLD

Turn local connections into meaningful impact.

Are you great at building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning conversations into action?

Perhaps you’ve worked in business development, B2B sales, account management, partnerships or stakeholder engagement and are looking for a role where your relationship‑building skills can contribute to something meaningful.

Or maybe you already work in community fundraising and are ready for a role with more autonomy and responsibility.

If you’re proactive, organised and take pride in following things through, we’d love to hear from you.

The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, through its community and fundraising initiative The Common Good, is looking for a Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator to help grow local support for Caboolture Hospital and the community it serves.

About the role

Based primarily at Caboolture Hospital, you’ll work with local businesses, schools, community groups, hospital teams, volunteers and supporters to create fundraising opportunities and bring community events and initiatives to life.

You’ll build and nurture relationships, support community fundraisers, follow up new opportunities and manage a portfolio of fundraising activity – making sure conversations turn into explicit next steps.

It’s a diverse role with plenty of autonomy. You’ll be supported by the Community Fundraising & Events Manager while being trusted to organise your work, use your judgement and take initiative.

You’ll also spend one day each week at The Prince Charles Hospital in Chermside, staying connected with the broader Foundation team.

What could your day look like?

No two days will necessarily look the same.

You could be meeting with a local business interested in supporting The Common Good, helping a community fundraiser get their campaign underway, planning an upcoming event, presenting to a community group or following up fundraising prospects.

You might also be coordinating event logistics, updating your CRM, developing engagement ideas with hospital teams or attending a local networking opportunity.

Whatever the day brings, you’ll be building relationships, spotting opportunities and following things through.

You’ll be outstanding in this role if you…

- Build genuine relationships and enjoy connecting with a wide range of people
- Take initiative and are comfortable working things out without needing step‑by‑step direction
- Are organised and reliable when it comes to follow‑up
- Look for solutions and use good judgement about when to act and when to seek guidance
- Can confidently manage multiple relationships, events and priorities
- Communicate proactively and keep others appropriately informed
- Enjoy being out in the community and representing a cause you believe in.

Experience in community fundraising, business development, B2B sales, account management, partnerships, stakeholder engagement,

events or other relationship‑based roles will be highly regarded.

Confidence using CRM or database systems and Microsoft 365 will also be beneficial.

At The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, we’re passionate about helping people live healthier for longer.

Through The Common Good, we support research, essential equipment and patient‑care initiatives that improve and save lives. At Caboolture Hospital, this support has already helped fund local research, equipment and initiatives that improve care and the experience of patients and families.

Caboolture Hospital sits at the heart of one of Australia’s fastest‑growing regions, with local businesses, schools, community groups, and individuals continuing to rally behind it. Discover how community support is helping Caboolture Hospital: tcg.org.au/cabimpact

When you join our team, you’ll be part of a purpose‑driven organisation where people genuinely care about the work they do and the difference it makes.

You’ll also enjoy:

- Meaningful work with visible local community impact
- A supportive and collaborative team
- Professional development and learning opportunities
- Salary packaging benefits to increase your take‑home pay
- Flexible working arrangements where operationally appropriate
- Discounted coffee.

A few practical things to know

You’ll need a current Queensland Driver Licence and flexibility to travel as required. Some evening and weekend work is required for community events, with TOIL provided.

The role also involves hands‑on event setup and pack‑down activities, including moving equipment and materials.
