The Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant is responsible for the productive receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods to ensure accurate and timely customer orders. This role plays a key part in maintaining warehouse organisation, stock accuracy and operational efficiency. The position requires reliability, attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming goods against purchase orders
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately
- Organise and maintain warehouse stock locations
- Assist with hose assembly and product preparation
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory control
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and presentation
- Ensure compliance with WHS procedures
- Assist with freight coordination and dispatch documentation
About you
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- NSW driver's licence (advantageous)
- Previous warehouse or dispatch experience (desirable)
- Experience using inventory systems (desirable)
