EXPERIENCED SHOPFITTER / JOINERY
PRODUCTION & SITE INSTALLER

We’re looking for an experiencedShopfitter / Joinery Production & Site Installer to join our team, with a mix ofworkshop/factory-based joinery production, commercial installation and event builds .
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys building quality joinery in the workshop, getting out on site and seeing projects come together.
The role offers a great variety of work acrosshigh-end retail, commercial fit‑outs and event projects , providing an opportunity to work on creative and often unique builds rather than being limited to repetitive joinery production.
THE ROLE
You’ll work across our workshop, commercial project sites and event environments, producing and installing custom joinery, shopfitting and bespoke event builds.
Your responsibilities will include:
Workshop / Factory
- Manufacturing custom joinery and cabinetry
- Using CNC drawing/en-route programming software experience highly preferred
- Operating CNC machinery — experience highly preferred
- Cutting, assembling and preparing joinery for installation
- Working with laminate, veneer, 2-pack, timber and other finishes
- Operating workshop machinery and power tools
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings and cutting lists
- Quality checking completed joinery
- Preparing, packing and protecting joinery for transport and installation
- Assisting with workshop planning and production
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and efficient
Site Installation
- Installing custom joinery and cabinetry
- Commercial shopfitting and retail fit‑outs
- Setting out and measuring on site
- Installing shelving, counters,
cabinetry and feature elements
- Reading and interpreting plans and shop drawings
- Coordinating with builders, trades and site managers
- Problem‑solving and making adjustments on site
- Delivering a high‑quality finish
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
Event Builds
- Building and installing bespoke event structures and displays
- Working on temporary retail activations, exhibitions and brand installations
- Manufacturing event components in the workshop
- Installing feature walls, displays, counters and custom structures
- Working to tight deadlines and event bump‑in schedules
- Working as part of a team to deliver projects from workshop through to completion
- Being creative and practical in solving problems on site
Event work provides the opportunity to work oncreative, one‑off builds and brand experiences , offering a break from repetitive production and allowing the right person to get involved in different types of projects.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience injoinery, shopfitting, carpentry and/or commercial installation
- Is confident working in both aworkshop and on site
- Can read and understand shop drawings, plans and cutting lists
- Has experience with joinery manufacturing and installation
- Is confident using hand and power tools
- Has experience operating CNC machinery, or is keen to develop these skills
- Has a high attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Is practical, creative and enjoys problem‑solving
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Works efficiently and takes ownership of their work
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Has good communication skills
- Holds a current driver’s licence
Event building, Cabinet Making, Shopfitting, Carpentry or related trade qualification is preferred.
A White Card is required, with other relevant site tickets highly regarded.

THE RIGHT PERSON
We’re looking for someone who canbuild it in the workshop and install it properly on site .
You should be able to read a drawing, understand how something needs to be made, build it to a high standard and then confidently install it on site.
Just as importantly, you’ll enjoy variety. One week you might be manufacturing high‑end retail joinery, the next installing a commercial fit‑out, and the next building a completely bespoke event activation.
We’re looking for someone whotakes ownership, works efficiently, thinks creatively and cares about the finished product .
