You will be required to help run the day-to‑day operations of the practice and ensuring that patients are always your number one priority. It is a combined dermatology and plastic surgical practice.
Office hours range from 7:15am - 4:15pm, Tuesday to Friday.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Meeting and greeting patients
Booking appointments and surgical procedures
Preparing reception and specialists' rooms for consultation day
Co‑ordinating operating theatre lists
Invoicing and receipting of consultations and procedures
Processing Medicare and Eclipse accounts
Liaising with Health Funds and Work Cover insurers
To be successful for this position, the preferable skills/attributes are:
Minimum 6 months experience in a specialist medical practice is preferred
Medical administration experience from any healthcare setting is acceptable
Abilility to work autonomously
Experience with Genie practice management software is preferred but not essential
This is a unique job which will bring new challenges and opportunities. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Commencement date ASAP.
