Surf Life Saving NSW is seeking a proactive and highly organised Administration Officer to support the Operations Manager and the broader project team.

This is a varied, fast-paced role providing administrative and logistical support for a large-scale project. You will assist with data entry, respond to incoming enquiries and help the team manage rapidly changing operational priorities.

Key responsibilities

- Complete accurate and timely data entry across various systems and platforms.
- Triage incoming telephone calls and emails.
- Redirect enquiries to the appropriate team members or provide approved scripted responses.
- Provide general administrative and logistical support to the Operations Manager and broader team.
- Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, room preparation and catering.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as required.

About you

This role would suit an experienced Administration Officer, or administrative support individual who thrives in a busy and rapidly changing environment.

You will have:

- Previous experience in administration, or team support.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good technical skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A adaptable, proactive and collaborative approach.
- A willingness to assist across a variety of duties as required.
