Knuckey Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Support Staff – Forklift Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven organisation committed to modernisation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
The Position: We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team at our Laverton North warehouse as Logistics Support Staff. This hands‑on role is integral to the warehouse's day‑to‑day operations and suits someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment.
Your responsibilities will include safe unloading, loading, movement, picking and packing of stock to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of orders. You will operate forklifts, so a strong commitment to safety is essential at all times — for yourself, your colleagues, and company assets.
You will also assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment, working closely with the wider team and reporting to the Warehouse Manager. As a 3PL provider, stock integrity is crucial. Attention to detail and prior inventory experience are expected. and upskill will be key to your success in this role.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Licences & Technical Requirements
Current High Risk Work Licence (LF class), with demonstrated experience operating both counterbalance and high-reach forklifts
Current Heavy Rigid (HR) truck licence not essential but highly regarded
Confident using warehouse programs for order processing, stock control and dispatch paperwork
Work Ethic & Safety
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, including pre-start forklift checks, correct use of PPE, following safe work procedures and promptly reporting hazards and incidents
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised work environment
High attention to detail when handling stock and preparing orders
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks, including repetitive lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Communication & Teamwork
Transparent and professional communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
Flexible and adaptable, with a positive approach to change
Learning & Development
Willingness to learn, upskill, and adapt in a modern, evolving logistics environment
Additional information
This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday. A pre-employment medical will be conducted in the later stages of the recruitment process.
