We’re recruiting a Credit Officer for a growing SME lender where every application calls for a fresh look at the business behind the numbers. If you have 12 months or more of foundational experience in credit or lending and want to develop your commercial judgement, this could be your next move.
You’ll assess applications ranging from $5,000 to $500,000+ , covering everything from asset finance to business acquisitions and new ventures.
Experienced credit leaders will support you as you build confidence and take on greater responsibility.
What you’ll do
- Review SME applications, financial statements, cash flow forecasts and business expenses.
- Assess transaction risks and security structures.
- Work with Sales, brokers, customers and Operations to keep applications moving.
- Help check documents and approval conditions ahead of settlement.
- Spot issues early and contribute ideas to improve processes.
What you’ll bring
- At least 12 months’ experience in credit, lending or a related finance role. Consumer lending and asset finance experience are welcome.
- Confidence with numbers and curiosity about how businesses operate.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
- A practical approach to risk and the confidence to ask good questions.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn from an experienced team.
