An established and reputable engineering firm is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Infrastructure Maintenance Technician to join our team on a mine site.

This role will support the maintenance and upkeep of site infrastructure, helping ensure facilities, services and assets remain safe, reliable and fit for purpose. You will work as part of a collaborative site team and contribute to planned maintenance, repairs and improvement works across the operation.

This role will support the maintenance and upkeep of site infrastructure, helping ensure facilities, services and assets remain safe, reliable and fit for purpose. You will work as part of a collaborative site team and contribute to planned maintenance, repairs and improvement works across the operation.

The role

Key responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on mine-site infrastructure
- Completing repairs to site facilities, access ways, fencing, drainage, water services and general infrastructure assets
- Assisting with minor civil, fabrication, installation and improvement works
- Identifying defects, hazards and maintenance requirements and reporting these promptly
- Using tools, plant and equipment safely and correctly
- Completing pre-start checks, risk assessments,



permits and required site documentation
- Working closely with supervisors, maintenance teams and client representatives
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas
- Following all site safety, environmental and quality requirements

About you

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience in infrastructure, maintenance, construction, civil or mine-site works
- A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
- Current driver’s licence
- Construction White Card
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Relevant trade qualifications, plant tickets or civil experience will be highly regarded
