Full-Time Housekeeper/ Cleaner / Household Manager

Gold Coast | Permanent Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and genuinely house-proud Housekeeper / Household Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and presentation of our family homes.

This is not simply a cleaning position. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating a beautifully maintained, organised and welcoming home and who takes pride in noticing what needs to be done and getting it done.

We are a busy family with three grown children, pets, work commitments, entertaining and regular travel. We have a large five-bedroom family home in Surfers Paradise, including a pool house, as well as a three-storey home in the Central Gold Coast. We are looking for one reliable person who can become a trusted, long-term part of our household and help keep everything running smoothly.

The role will include:

- Daily housekeeping and maintaining a consistently high standard throughout the home

- Cleaning, tidying and resetting rooms throughout the day

- Making beds and keeping bedrooms beautifully presented

- Fluffing cushions, straightening rooms and attending to the small details that make a home feel cared for

- Laundry from start to finish, including washing, drying, folding, ironing and putting clothing away

- Confident care of delicate clothing and different fabrics, including stain treatment and appropriate washing methods

- Organising wardrobes and ensuring clothing and belongings are returned to the correct family member and place

- Changing bed linen and managing household linen

- Keeping cupboards, wardrobes,



pantries and household storage organised

- Light meal preparation and assistance with family food preparation

- General kitchen upkeep, including keeping fridges, pantry and household supplies organised

- Caring appropriately for quality furniture, antiques and household finishes

- Monitoring household supplies and replenishing items as required

- Letting tradespeople and service providers into the property and overseeing access when required

- Helping coordinate household maintenance and identifying items requiring attention

- Assisting with our dogs and cats, including occasional care when the family is travelling

- Helping prepare the homes before we return from travel and ensuring they are left organised when we leave

- General errands and other practical household tasks as required

- Weekly office clean of 3 small Gold Coast offices

- Dog walking

We will continue to have additional professional cleaners attend periodically for larger cleaning tasks. This role is about taking ownership of the household as a whole - keeping it clean, organised, functioning and beautifully presented every day.

There will also be responsibility for cleaning our nearby business offices outside normal office hours.



These hours can form part of the full time working week and may suit someone who appreciates some flexibility in how their weekly hours are structured.

Who we are looking for

The right person will be naturally organised, practical and detail-oriented. You will be someone who walks into a room and instinctively notices what needs attention.

You will ideally have previous experience as a private housekeeper, executive housekeeper, household manager, hotel housekeeper or in a similar high-standard domestic environment.

Most importantly, you will be:

- Reliable and punctual

- Comfortable committing to agreed regular working days and hours

- Discreet and respectful of a family's privacy

- Energetic and physically fit and capable of managing a large home

- Extremely clean and organised

- Confident with laundry, ironing and garment care

- Comfortable around children and pets

- Able to work independently without requiring constant direction

- Proactive rather than task-driven

- Flexible when genuinely required, while maintaining a dependable regular schedule

- Honest, trustworthy and interested in a long-term position

We are particularly interested in finding someone who wants stability and longevity . Our preference is to build a relationship with one trusted person who gets to know our family, our homes and the way we like things done.

A driver's licence and reliable transport are essential due to work across our Gold Coast properties and office.

Permanent full-time position.

Remuneration will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
