YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- FLEET AND DISPATCH MANAGEMENT Allocate trucks and drivers for deliveries, optimizing routes and ensuring maximum fleet utilization.
- SCHEDULING AND COORDINATING Manage driver schedules, coordinate equipment hire, and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet deadlines.
- CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION Liaise with customers to provide updates on freight status and manage their expectations for delivery.
- CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE Ensure compliance with fatigue management regulations, vehicle maintenance, and other safety procedures.
- RECORD KEEPING Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and other paperwork related to transport operations.




- PROBLEM SOLVING Address operational issues, manage incidents or near misses, and proactively solve logistical challenges.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

- STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus on priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION Transparent and proactive communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
- PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES Capacity to identify and resolve logistical issues efficiently.
- KNOWLEDGE OF TRANSPORT REGULATIONS Understanding of relevant safety and transport regulations, such as fatigue management and CoR.
- IT PROFICIENCY Ability to work with and manage integrated IT systems used for logistics and transport.
