We operate nationwide, and our employees work across a wide range of industries. We are actively seeking dedicated Mechanical Fitters to join our Urban utilities Team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a quick-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- perform routine, preventive, and reactive maintenance on water and wastewater treatment and delivery infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical components
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown support
- Ensuring all work is completed to WHS standards
- Working alongside production teams to minimise downtime
- Accurate documentation of maintenance tasks and reporting of issues
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience on wastewater treatment plants and all equipment located within the plant (Desirable)
- Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights
- Prior experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical role
- National Licence to perform High Risk work (Desirable)
- Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter or equivalent)
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A can-do attitude and willingness to support the team when required
- Commitment to workplace safety and professionalism
