ABCARE Disability Support is a small, family-owned disability support business where personalised service, strong relationships and high standards really matter.

We are looking for an experienced Administration Officer to join our friendly office team and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration and compliance of our business.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has previous experience working within the NDIS industry and understands the importance of compliance, accuracy and confidentiality.

This role will suit someone who genuinely enjoys working in a small, family-owned business. Our office is personal, hands-on and team-oriented rather than a large corporate environment. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with this style of workplace and enjoys being part of a small team where everyone contributes and supports each other.

About the role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, confident and able to work independently while being part of a small and supportive team.

Duties will include:

- Invoicing and accounts administration
- Payroll processing and payroll administration
- NDIS billing and funding-related administration
- Maintaining accurate staff and client records
- Monitoring compliance documentation and requirements
- Supporting NDIS compliance processes and audits
- Administration of service agreements and related documentation
- General office administration and record keeping
- Supporting management with day-to-day administrative tasks




- Responding to staff and client enquiries
- Assisting with rostering and other operational administration when required
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
- Monthly / Fortnightly weekend on call phone duties (paid generosely)

About you

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in NDIS/disability services environment
- Has a strong understanding of NDI S compliance and provider requirements
- Has experience with invoicing and payroll - essential
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Can work confidently and independently
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Is comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information
- Is proactive and able to identify issues before they become problems
- Takes pride in getting things right
- Is reliable, approachable and genuinely enjoys being part of a small team
- NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing employment)
- Police Check within the past three months (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing employment)
- Australian Driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Flexibly available for additional hours as required (Monday – Friday)





Experience with ShiftCare or similar disability sector software will be highly regarded.

The hours

We are offering minimum 10 hours per week, with school-hour work available.

Work days are Monday to Friday and can be flexible depending on the successful applicant's availability and the needs of the business.

There will also be opportunities for additional hours when covering staff leave or during periods of increased administrative workload.

The role will include monthly / fortnightly weekend on-call support, requiring the work phone to be available for staff enquiries.
