As they continue to grow their services in a state-of-the-art facility in the Sunshine Coast, they are seeking a clinically qualified Director of Nursing with perioperative services experience to join the team.
About the Opportunity
Supported by a team-oriented clinical and management team, we are seeking a caring and dynamic leader with RN clinical qualifications and demonstrated experience in leadership, driving growth and a culture of team collaboration and quality patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and empowering the team to embed a culture of patient-centric care, teamwork, and community care.
- Develop and deliver the organisational strategy in partnership with the executive leadership team.
- Deliver practical and sustainable growth and commercial outcomes through community partnerships and external stakeholder management.
- Managing governance across company policies, systems and processes including organisational risk framework, mandatory reporting, assets, and workforce management.
- Develop a culture open to staff learning,
development and knowledge sharing always striving to be the best in the industry.
- Plan and deliver the achievement of safety outcomes, always ensuring safety first for patients, staff and the community.
- Identify and deliver continuousimprovement programsto current serviceswhilst demonstrating inspirational resilience and professionalism.
- Work collaboratively with the Quality Management Team to enhance quality systems and contribute to quality improvement programs and other facility activities to meet service/accreditation standards.
- Participate in the strategic, business and budget planning process in partnership with the executive team.
Skills and Experience
- Proven leadership experience leading a multi-disciplinary team across.
- Experience working in Perioperative services as a DoN or extensive experience as a NUM.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Management/Commerce or relevant field.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to develop and integrate innovative and patientcentric strategies.
- Advanced business acumen with the ability to interpret financial and performance data.
- High level of knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, standards and government funding models.
