Key responsibilities
- You will provide high-quality, culturally responsive care across a broad clinical scope while contributing to service delivery, leadership, supervision, and continuous improvement.
- In this role of District Medical Officer, you will be a valued member of the team and will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical and community health services to the Carnarvon/Exmouth Health Service and remote communities.
- Leading clinical teams and provide mentorship to junior medical staff.
- Responding to emergency presentations and provide acute inpatient care.

- This is subject to the assessment of qualifications, clinical skills and years of practice.
- The hospital provides essential services such as general medical care, outpatient services, chronic disease management, community nursing, dental care and allied health.
- Be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
