We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week). Bethany Lutheran OSHC is located at Bethany Lutheran Primary School in Raceview and provides before school care, after school care, and vacation care programs.

About the Role
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will:
Supervise and actively engage children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
Deliver age-appropriate, engaging programs that support learning and development
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the school community
Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality care and programs
Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or actively working towards one.
Have a genuine passion for working with school-aged children
Are reliable, flexible, and a positive team player
Have good communication and interpersonal skills
A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.
A current Blue Card
Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)
Experience in an OSHC or similar setting would be preferred however, all applicants would be considered.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
Willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service.
Experience with Food Handling (desired but not essential).
