Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking PGY2+ Locum Resident Medical Officers to support Emergency Department services.

This role is ideal for junior doctors wanting practical ED exposure, strong supervision and competitive hourly rates in a metro hospital setting.

You will work under Registrars and FACEMs, managing acute presentations with clear escalation pathways and clinical backup.

Clinical Setting

- ED exposure from minor injuries through to resus cases
- Daily supervision and teaching from Registrars and FACEMs
- Triage support, procedures, documentation and acute patient care
- Structured ED teams with junior doctor support

Requirements

- General AHPRA Registration
- PGY2+ level
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing

Location

Nepean Blue Mountains offers Emergency Department locum work across Western Sydney settings, with access to Penrith, Windsor, the Blue Mountains and surrounding suburbs.
