Land Development - Resi and Industrial Subdivisions

South-East Melbourne

A technical to co-ordinate Civil Design and project progress.

Why this one

- A senior seat where you're trusted in the growing team
- Efficient communication - surveyors, planners and engineers under one roof
- Outstanding Place To Work recognised; the culture is real
- Culture here looks like explicit role descrptions, so everyone knows what is their remit and what is not. It means you're not staying back past 5:30pm every day. It also looks like team-work, sharing stress and sharing success.
- Competitive salary, a little flexibility
- A strong pipeline of projects > a business that's ready for the 2030 boom

The role

You'll take the civil, technical side of greenfield land development projects from raw dirt to titled lots. Authoritiy liaison, report writing, checking, setting strategy, understanding the brief, understanding the technical programme - these are all in your remit.

You're probably from a design background.

You're the one who keeps the civil side of the project moving.

It's not however, full project budget management or multi-disciplinary co-ordination. That's the role of a Project Manager.

You'll bring

- Civil Engineering Degree
- Victorian land development experience, consultant-side, as this is a technical role.
- A cool head when council comes back with RFIs
- The ability to juggle several projects, all at different stages
- Patience with people and good humour.

Take home: $140k - $180k p/a plus Super, or thereabouts + on site car parking.

You're mostly going to be office based, with some site meetings to see clients. This isn't a Project Delivery role and you won't need more than the use of a pool car.

Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Applicants must hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
