The Opportunity

Our client is a growing national law firm with offices across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, advising businesses and individuals across construction, commercial litigation, property, regulatory and corporate advisory. With a strong existing client base, active matters and established referral relationships, there is significant untapped potential ready to be unlocked. Read on… You'll work directly with the Managing Partners and senior lawyers to identify new business, grow key relationships and uncover opportunities across different practice areas.

This role is for a true hunter who has the ability to nurture and grow accounts.

The Role

- Identify and win recent business opportunities
- Prospect, cold call and build your own pipeline
- Grow existing client relationships
- Find cross-selling opportunities across practice areas




- Re-engage dormant clients and relationships
- Build referral partnerships and networks
- Work with partners and lawyers to convert opportunities
- Manage your pipeline and track opportunities through to close
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities
- Help shape a more proactive BD strategy across the firm

About You

You’re a hunter with strong relationship skills. You enjoy opening doors, having commercial conversations and turning opportunities into revenue.

You'll bring

- 8+ years' business development within a professional services industry such as Legal, Accounting, Consulting etc
- Proven new business and prospecting capability
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience building and managing your own pipeline
- Commercial mindset and strong follow-through
- Confidence selling complex or intangible services
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach

Experience in legal or professional services is highly regarded, but your ability to create opportunities and win business is what matters most.
