PARC Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a major Defence project based in Exmouth, Western Australia on a 2:1 roster FIFO ex Perth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly capable Electrical Engineer to work on a significant project within the Defence sector, with the initial engagement expected to run for approximately 6 months. Upon successful completion of the project, there is the chance to transition onto other upcoming projects, providing the potential for ongoing work.

About the Role

Working as part of the project delivery team, you will provide senior-level electrical engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project management, construction and other engineering disciplines to ensure electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Providing senior electrical engineering support across the project
- Reviewing and interpreting electrical designs, drawings and specifications
- Supporting construction and commissioning activities
- Working closely with project, engineering and construction teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensuring electrical works comply with relevant Australian Standards, specifications and project requirements
- Reviewing contractor and subcontractor works and providing technical guidance where required
- Assisting with technical queries, design changes and engineering solutions
- Supporting project documentation, quality assurance and technical reporting
- Identifying and managing electrical engineering risks and issues
- Ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with Defence, project and HSE requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
- 5 plus years demonstrated experience working as a Electrical Engineer on major projects
- Strong experience in project delivery, ideally within Defence, mining, infrastructure, energy or industrial environments
- Sound knowledge of Australian electrical standards and engineering practices
- Previous experience working in construction/project environments
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and project outcomes
- Australian working rights
