We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Platform Engineer . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake and Azure cloud services , with a solid understanding of data architecture, RBAC, security, and fine-grained access control . This role will be responsible for enabling secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions across advanced analytics platforms.

Design & Integration:

- Collaborate with solution architects to understand and implement integration between Snowflake and Azure cloud data platforms.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ingestion frameworks using Snowflake and Azure-native services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Blob Storage).
- Contribute to the detailed design of the data platform architecture.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy, security policies, and performance requirements.

Security & Access Control:

- Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and fine-grained access policies in Snowflake.
- Design and enforce data classification-based access controls to support secure data consumption.
- Work with security and compliance teams to ensure governance and auditability.

Performance & Optimization:

- Optimize Snowflake queries and storage for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance issues.
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists,



and business stakeholders to enable secure and efficient data access.
- Document technical designs, access control policies, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data platform roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, including schema design, query optimization, and access control.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, especially in data integration and storage.
- Deep understanding of RBAC, data classification, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python) would be an added advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
