We’re looking for an experienced Network & Connectivity Lead to take ownership of a key network pillar within a leading organisation. This is a technical leadership role covering network operations, connectivity, security and performance. You’ll provide technical direction across the network environment while working closely with cloud, infrastructure and security teams.

What you’ll be doing:

- Lead the delivery and ongoing operation of enterprise network and connectivity services
- Own SD-WAN, WAN, internet and site connectivity
- Provide technical leadership across network architecture, operations and service improvements
- Oversee network monitoring, performance and capacity
- Manage network security and edge technologies , including firewalls and VPNs
- Manage carrier and connectivity providers
- Support connectivity between on-premise environments and AWS
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex network issues and major incidents
- Identify and deliver improvements across network performance, resilience and reliability
- Work closely with cloud, infrastructure and security teams on wider technology initiatives

What we’re looking for:

- Strong enterprise networking background at Senior Network Engineer, Network Architect or Network Lead level
- Robust experience across WAN, SD-WAN and enterprise connectivity
- Solid understanding of network security and edge technologies
- Experience with AWS connectivity
- Experience managing carriers, vendors and third-party providers
- Strong understanding of network monitoring and performance management
- Experience providing technical leadership and acting as a senior escalation point
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This role would suit someone who has a strong technical networking background and has progressed into technical leadership or architecture , while still wanting to stay close to the technology.
