We are going to appoint a Senior Associate or Associate Director within our newly established Financial Institutions (FI) business in Sydney.
This is a high-impact, front-office role offering the opportunity to take ownership of a developing portfolio across Bank and Non-Bank financial institutions.

- Senior Management Exposure – Work closely with senior management on client opportunities, strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Origination & Client Coverage
- Develop new business across Banks and NBFI clients;
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across the Australian market;
- Identify opportunities across lending, trade finance, treasury, and structured solutions;
- Delivering tailored solutions leveraging global capabilities;
- Execute bilateral and syndicated transactions, working closely with relevant internal teams;
- Prepare credit submissions and conduct financial and credit analysis;
- Coordinate the transaction process, including due diligence, internal approvals and documentation;
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure high-quality post-lending management;
Internal Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Trade Finance, CIB
About You
- 4+ years’ experience in Corporate and Institutional Banking, preferably with Financial Institutions banking or coverage experience;
- Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities and execute transactions in the Australian market;
- Good understanding of the Australian regulatory and financial market environment;
- Solid credit analysis and transaction structuring capability, with experience in preparing credit reports and credit submissions;
- Good understanding of the Australian regulatory and financial market setting;
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance business development and risk management;
- Experience working in an international or cross-cultural banking environment will be highly regarded;
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
