Our clinic is equipped with modern dental technology and supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team. We have a strong patient base and are looking for a confident dentist with excellent general dentistry and treatment planning skills.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and clinically confident Dentist to join our team on an attractive 40% commission structure .
The role is focused on general dentistry, extractions, root canal treatment, diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning .
Implant and cosmetic dentistry experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality general dental treatment
- Perform simple and surgical extractions , where clinically appropriate
- Carry out root canal treatments
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations
- Accurately diagnose dental and oral health conditions
- Develop clear and appropriate treatment plans
- Perform restorative treatments including fillings and general restorative dentistry
- Manage emergency dental cases where required
- Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks and expected outcomes to patients
- Provide preventive dental care and oral health education
- Obtain appropriate informed consent before treatment
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
- Work collaboratively with dental assistants, reception staff and other clinicians
- Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical compliance
Essential Requirements
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dentist
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Strong experience in general dentistry
- Confidence with extractions
- Confidence with root canal treatment / endodontics
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent treatment planning ability
- Good patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Qualified, ethical and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage a general dental patient book
- Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality patient care
