Lighthouse Whole Body Health Pty Ltd - Sydney CBD NSW

Passionate about women's hormone health? Help us build what comes next.

Lighthouse Whole Body Health is expanding into women's health—and we're looking for a progressive doctor with the experience, clinical confidence and genuine passion to help shape it.

Over the past 4½ years, we've supported more than 2,000 men through personalised medical care and ongoing support. Now we're developing a dedicated women's health service, with its own identity and an approach built around women's needs.

Our focus is women's hormone health, particularly perimenopause, menopause and the wider changes that can affect quality of life.

We want to give women time to explain what's happening, a doctor who takes their concerns seriously, and a transparent plan that evolves with them.

The role

You'll play a central clinical role in developing and delivering the service.

You'll work with women experiencing concerns such as disrupted sleep, hot flushes, changing cycles, low energy, brain fog, mood changes, changes in sexual wellbeing and body composition.

You'll bring the judgement to understand how hormones may be contributing, consider other explanations, and work with each patient to decide what comes next.

You will work with a wider team to make sure your patients are supported beyond prescriptions across nutrition, natural remedies and exercise.

Our model centres on thorough assessment, time for meaningful consultations and ongoing care. We'll support you with structured pre-consultation information, coordinated investigations where appropriate, and an organised digital workflow.

What you'll do

Conduct initial and review consultations via telehealth.

Assess symptoms alongside menstrual and reproductive history, medical history, medications, lifestyle and patient priorities.

Request and interpret investigations where clinically indicated.

Develop personalised care plans, including menopausal hormone therapy, non-hormonal treatments, lifestyle support and referrals where appropriate.

Explain treatment options, benefits, risks and uncertainties clearly, helping patients make informed decisions.

Monitor response and side effects, with timely reviews after treatment changes and ongoing follow-up according to clinical need.

Recognise when further investigation, an in-person examination or specialist input is needed, and coordinate care with the patient's usual GP where appropriate.

Help shape the clinical approach and patient experience as the service develops.

What we're looking for

Current AHPRA registration and appropriate professional indemnity cover.

Demonstrated experience in women's hormone health, particularly perimenopause and menopause.

Confidence prescribing and monitoring menopausal hormone therapy, with a clear understanding of indications, contraindications and alternatives.

A progressive, evidence-based approach and a commitment to keeping your knowledge current.

Strong clinical judgement-you consider the whole picture and tailor care to the individual.

An approachable communication style, including confidence discussing menstrual, sexual and emotional health sensitively.

Comfort with telehealth, electronic medical records and a digital-first workflow.

A genuine interest in building lasting patient relationships.

Strong advantages

A GP background with a substantial women's health focus, or relevant specialist experience.

Further training in menopause, sexual or reproductive health.

Experience supporting women with complex midlife symptoms.

An interest in metabolic health, bone health and healthy ageing.

Experience helping develop a clinical service or improve patient care.

An existing private practice or flexible schedule.

The approach we value

We're looking for someone who takes women's symptoms seriously, stays curious and is confident offering treatment when the evidence and individual circumstances support it.

Hormone therapy is an important part of the care we intend to offer. Your clinical judgement and each patient's needs and preferences will guide whether it is appropriate.

We value thoughtful assessment, shared decisions and consistent follow-through. You'll have a meaningful voice in how this service takes shape.

What you get

The opportunity to help establish a dedicated women's health service from the outset.

Remote consultations and a flexible schedule.

Administrative and operational support so you can focus on clinical care.

Direct access to management and input into how the service develops.

A practice model built around continuity and time with patients.

Very competitive remuneration, discussed directly.

About Lighthouse

We're a small, premium medical practice with a long-term commitment to the people we support.

As we develop distinct men's and women's health services, that commitment remains central: understand the person, investigate thoughtfully, agree on a plan and follow through.

If you care deeply about women's health and want to help build a service around that approach, we'd like to hear from you.
