About the Role
As a R&D; Tax Consultant , you will:
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of R&D; Tax Incentive applications.
- Assess eligibility and identify eligible R&D; activities and expenditure.
- Analyse technical, scientific and financial information and prepare supporting documentation.
- Support clients through reviews, audits and compliance processes.
- Build strong client relationships and understand their business and innovation activities.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, workpapers and client records.
- Research government funding opportunities and stay informed of R&D; program changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to process and quality improvements.
About you
You’ll be a good fit for the R&D; Tax Consultant role if you have:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Science, Engineering, Technology, Medical or Health-related disciplines.
- 0-3 years’ experience in qualified services, consulting, research, tax, grants or a related field.
- Interest in business, law and/or finance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,
including technical writing.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive, motivated and eager to learn.
- Collaborative and able to build positive client and colleague relationships.
