All Energy Contracting (AEC) is a leading multidisciplinary construction contractor specialising in renewables and energy infrastructure projects. We deliver projects across solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), high voltage connections, substations, balance of plant and associated civil, electrical and mechanical works.
About the opportunity
As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a Lead Scheduler / Senior Planner to join our Project Management Office (PMO) and play a key role in supporting project delivery across multiple renewable energy and power infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the PMO Project Director, the Lead Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project schedules across a diverse portfolio of complex construction projects.
This role works closely with Project Managers, Construction teams, Commercial teams, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are effectively planned, progress is accurately tracked, and risks to delivery are identified early. The successful candidate will provide end-to-end planning expertise across the full project lifecycle, from tender and pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish project baselines, critical paths, milestones, and resource requirements
- Monitor project progress and performance against approved schedules
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities, providing practical mitigation strategies
- Produce regular planning reports, dashboards, and project performance updates
- Assist with tender planning, programme development, and bid submissions
- Facilitate schedule reviews with project stakeholders and leadership teams
- Support portfolio-level planning and resource forecasting across multiple projects.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience within construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities, mining, or related industries.
- Advanced scheduling experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
