Adecco is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Mould Shop Operator to join a manufacturing team in Bayswater. In this hands-on role, you will support mould preparation and pouring activities to meet production schedules while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Your duties will include mould assembly, gel coating, PVA application, PVC cutting and mould tool maintenance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for safely operating a forklift and overhead crane, maintaining accurate documentation and working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet deadlines and support continuous improvement.

This is an afternoon shift position, working from 1:00 pm to 9:06 pm.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, assemble and maintain mould tools ready for production and pouring.

- Perform gel coating, PVA application, PVC cutting and mould masking.

- Assist with mould tool maintenance and general production tasks.

- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and in accordance with licensing requirements.

- Follow production schedules to meet quality standards and deadlines.

- Identify and report quality issues,



hazards and equipment faults.

- Complete required production documentation accurately.

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including wearing required PPE.

- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support production targets.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and minimise waste.

Your Profile

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production workplace.

- Current forklift licence and experience operating a forklift safely.

- Experience operating an overhead crane or willingness to demonstrate relevant competency.

- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.

- Ability to follow instructions, work independently and meet production deadlines.

- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.

- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high work standards.

- Willingness to learn new processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
