Growth Hospitality Group Pty ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Full time Cook to join our team.
Salary Range – $75,000 - $85,000
Business Location – Mildura, Victoria, 3500
Responisibilities:
- Inspect and assess food items to maintain quality standards.
- Monitor and adjust temperatures of ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment.
- Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of dishes.
- Season dishes appropriately throughout the cooking process.
- Portion and plate meals with appropriate garnishes, sauces, and accompaniments.
- Store food safely in temperature-controlled environments.
- Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary needs.
- Assist with menu planning and estimating food and ingredient requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff and apprentices when required.
Skills and Qualifications
• AQF associate degree, Certificate II, Certificate IV, or Diploma certification in relevant Hospitality qualification.
• Prior Experience as a Cook.
• Strong Knowledge of Cooking Methods and operating kitchen tools and equipment
• Ability to work Full Time
• Flexible to work on a rotating roster.
