Your New Role
As a Senior Presales Engineer - Storage, you will serve as the technical subject-matter expert for enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data protection solutions.
Working closely with customers, account managers, solution architects, and technology partners, you will be responsible for understanding business and technical requirements, designing fit-for-purpose solutions, and providing technical leadership throughout the pre-sales life cycle.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Engaging with customers to understand storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data protection requirements.
- Designing enterprise storage solutions across SAN, NAS, backup, and related data management technologies.
- Conducting solution sizing, capacity planning, performance analysis, and product configuration activities.
- Leading technical workshops, solution discussions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Preparing technical proposals, solution architectures, bills of materials (BOMs), and tender responses.
- Providing specialist storage expertise and technical support to sales teams and infrastructure solution professionals.
- Collaborating with technology partners and delivery teams to validate solution designs and support implementation activities.
- Developing storage migration, consolidation, upgrade,



and disaster recovery strategies for enterprise customers.
- Identifying technical risks and recommending practical mitigation strategies.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, emerging storage technologies, and competitive market offerings.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise storage, solution design, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting.
- Strong expertise across enterprise storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, backup, replication, and data protection solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex storage solutions and supporting enterprise sales opportunities.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, solution designs, architecture documentation, and tender submissions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to engage confidently with customers and provide technical leadership throughout the pre-sales process.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, delivery teams, partners, and vendors to achieve successful customer outcomes.
