Role overview

The Retail Manager’s purpose is to oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for managing staff performance, monitoring sales, maintaining inventory levels, and implementing company policies. By aligning business goals with customer needs, the Retail Manager ensures the store meets financial targets while delivering a positive shopping experience. Key responsibilities

- Operational Oversight: Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Pizza Hut outlet, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to brand standards.
- Sales & Performance: Monitor sales performance, set targets, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, roster, and supervise team members, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Customer Service:



Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by handling enquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
- Inventory Control: Oversee stock management, ordering, and wastage reduction to maintain product availability and cost efficiency.
- Financial Management: Maintain accurate records of sales, cash handling, and banking; prepare reports for management review.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce workplace health and safety standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.
- Store Presentation: Maintain cleanliness, merchandising standards, and overall presentation of the outlet.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications and skills

Education:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

- Minimum 1–2 years of proven management experience in retail, hospitality, or quick‑service restaurants.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and achieve sales targets.
- Experience in inventory control, rostering, and financial reporting.
