About the Role
Due to ongoing growth and increased demand for our services, we now have exciting opportunities for Catering Assistants to join our dynamic,
production team based at Melbourne Airport.
In this role, you'll be an essential part of our operation — picking items for our Chefs to prepare bespoke meals for passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack selecting the correct food items and quantities for food preparation
- Check that orders are accurate, neatly presented and ready for dispatch
- Portioning, assembling, and packaging meals to specific airline requirements
- Measuring and preparing food items accurately and efficiently
- Packing catering equipment and trolleys for in-flight services
- Ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Assisting with general kitchen and production duties as required
About You:
We're looking for enthusiastic team members who bring:
- Experience in food preparation, production, or a similar environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures
- Knowledge of food safety and workplace health & safety practices
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster (38 hours per week) including weekends and public holidays, on a weekly rotation between AM and PM shifts
- Own transport will be required (free parking on site)
