Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer operating a busy production facility in Carbrook, producing a range of quality construction and building products including concrete, mortars, sands and other cement-based products.
We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators / Production Workers to join the team across day and afternoon shifts.
The Role
Working as part of a production team, you will be involved in the manufacture, processing, mixing and bagging of construction products.
Your duties may include:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Mixing and batching concrete, sand and cement-based products
- Operating bagging and packing equipment
- Loading and unloading materials
- Weighing, measuring and checking products
- Palletising and preparing finished products
- Performing general production and housekeeping duties
- Following quality control and production procedures
- Working safely around machinery, materials and mobile equipment
- Manual handling and repetitive tasks as required
About You
We are looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and committed to their work
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Comfortable working around machinery and in a manufacturing workplace
- Safety-conscious with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and production procedures
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operating or construction experience is highly regarded
A current forklift licence is not essential, but would be a definite advantage.
