porter green is seeking an organised, creative and digitally confident Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Coordinator to join our close-knit team.

This is a varied, hands-on role with a primary focus on email marketing, Shopify and website management, blog content, e-commerce and digital brand communications .

As a small and growing international business, the role will also provide secondary support across marketing, wholesale, customer service, administration and operations when required.

This is a permanent part-time, on-site position based at our office and warehouse in Corio, Victoria. Working days will fall between Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30am-5:00pm .

Our products are sold throughout Australia and internationally, including the USA, Canada, Europe and Dubai, with further growth planned across both our wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a small, collaborative team while also being confident working independently, taking ownership of their responsibilities and helping across the wider business when required.

About the role

The primary focus of this position is supporting the day-to-day management and growth of porter green’s digital marketing and e-commerce channels .

You will work closely with the porter green team to create and schedule email marketing campaigns, maintain our Shopify websites, create and publish blog content, update digital brand materials and ensure our online channels remain accurate, current and aligned with the porter green brand.

The role would suit someone who is highly organised, digitally capable and comfortable moving between creative and administrative tasks.

While digital marketing and e-commerce will remain the core focus, there will also be opportunities to assist with other areas of the business depending on experience, capacity and current projects.

Primary Responsibilities

Email Marketing

- Creating and building B2C and B2B email marketing campaigns using existing porter green brand templates and guidelines
- Scheduling EDM campaigns across our Australian and international markets
- Updating email templates, imagery, copy, links, products and promotional information
- Coordinating EDMs around product launches, promotions, gifting periods, seasonal events and key retail dates
- Maintaining email marketing calendars and schedules
- Assisting with customer database management and segmentation




- Monitoring campaign performance, including engagement and conversion, and assisting with ongoing improvements
- Ensuring all email marketing remains consistent with the porter green brand, aesthetic and tone of voice

Shopify & Website Management

- Maintaining and updating porter green Shopify websites
- Uploading and updating products, collections, imagery, descriptions, pricing and website content
- Updating homepage banners, promotional messaging, landing pages and other website elements
- Supporting new product launches, promotions and seasonal website changes
- Checking website content, links, pricing and product information for accuracy
- Identifying outdated information or areas requiring updates
- Assisting with general website maintenance and improvements

Blog & Digital Content

- Creating, formatting and publishing blog posts
- Assisting with blog topics and content relevant to products, launches, gifting, lifestyle and the porter green brand
- Updating existing website and blog content when required
- Using Canva to update existing branded templates and digital assets
- Preparing content and digital materials to support product launches, campaigns and promotions
- Ensuring digital content remains consistent with porter green’s established aesthetic, tone and brand guidelines

E-Commerce & Digital Platforms

- Assisting with the setup and ongoing maintenance of products and information across our digital sales channels
- Maintaining accurate product, pricing, inventory, imagery and brand information
- Assisting with promotions and marketplace updates
- Supporting new product and collection launches across relevant platforms
- Working across platforms including Shopify, Faire, Brandboom, MarketTime, Meet Ribbon, THE ICONIC, Freedom Marketplace and others
- Learning and managing new digital platforms as the business continues to grow

Secondary & Potential Responsibilities

As part of a small and growing business, the successful candidate may also assist with other areas when required. These responsibilities are secondary to the core Digital Marketing & E-Commerce function and will vary depending on current projects, experience and available capacity.

These may include:

- General marketing and campaign administration
- Updating lookbooks, catalogues, line sheets, pitch decks and other brand materials in Canva
- Maintaining Excel spreadsheets, reports and business records
- Assisting with Australian and international wholesale administration




- Processing wholesale orders and supporting order fulfilment
- Setting up and maintaining customer accounts
- Responding to customer, retailer and sales-agent enquiries
- Providing professional customer service to Australian and international customers
- Communicating with retailers, sales representatives and porter green partners worldwide
- Assisting with invoices, payment records and basic accounts administration when required
- Maintaining daily, weekly and project-specific checklists
- Monitoring projects and following up on outstanding tasks
- Assisting with product launches, trade activity and other brand projects
- Providing general administrative and operational support to the wider porter green team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented
- A strong written communicator with excellent spelling and attention to detail
- Creative with a good eye for visual presentation and brand consistency
- Comfortable creating and managing email marketing campaigns
- Confident working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
- Comfortable writing, formatting and publishing blog and website content
- Confident using Canva and working within established brand templates
- Digitally capable and comfortable learning new platforms and systems
- Able to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and ongoing tasks at once
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
- Proactive in identifying tasks, updates or issues that require attention
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy across websites and digital platforms
- Comfortable working within the unique and intimate environment of a close-knit, all-female, women-owned and women-run family business
- Collaborative, approachable and comfortable working closely with a small team
- Adaptable and happy to assist across different areas of the business when required
- Able to communicate professionally with customers, retailers and international business partners

Previous experience in digital marketing, email marketing, e-commerce, Shopify, content creation or website management would be highly regarded.

Experience with Shopify, Canva, email marketing platforms, Faire or other e-commerce marketplaces is beneficial but not essential, provided you are confident learning new systems.

You do not need to be a graphic designer. porter green has an established brand identity, templates and aesthetic; however, you should have a good eye for design, attention to detail and feel confident working within existing brand guidelines.
