The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Develop and implement inventory management procedures to ensure accurate tracking and effective use of space
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling deliveries and managing freight carriers
- Monitor warehouse safety and security protocols, including maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
- Analyze warehouse data to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements as needed
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and other warehouse activities
- Manage budget and expenses related to warehouse operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and regulations
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement
