Reporting to : Processing Manager
Employment Type : Full-time (minimum 38 hours/week)
Days: - Monday to Friday (with some Saturday work)
Hours: 5am - 1pm
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and practical Process Worker to join our small processing team at our Chinderah facility.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a close team, is comfortable with physical and repetitive work, and takes pride in doing their job properly.
The role involves a range of processing, preparation, packing and cleaning tasks, with training provided to the successful applicant.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing feed for lobster production
- Processing seafood products
- Cleaning workspaces and equipment
- Following established processes and instructions
- Working safely and maintaining required hygiene standards
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and Workplace Health and Safety guidelines
- Working cooperatively with the processing team and assisting with other duties as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and works well as part of a small team.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- A solid work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliability and consistency in attendance
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 20kgs
- A willingness to learn and take direction
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
Previous experience in seafood processing, food production, manufacturing, packing, warehousing, hospitality or similar hands-on work would be an advantage, but is not essential.
A forklift license is also an advantage but is not essential.
Requirements
- Own reliable transport and the ability to consistently travel to our Chinerdah facility for a 5:00am start
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 5:00am - 1:00pm, with some Saturday work
- Willingness to undergo pre/post-employment medical checks, including drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to work in cold environments and lift up to 20kg

- Competitive base salary (25% above industry award rate) + superannuation
