Driveline Servicesis seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant for our Mackay, QLD branch. The successful candidate will play an important role in our team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Disassemble, sand blasting and pressure washing of industrial parts and components.
- Delivery and collection of parts and components in company Vehicle.
- Maintaining Workshop cleanliness and organisation.
- Assist Tradesman in a mechanical workshop as required.
- Other General Duties required to maintain an organised, clean workshop and yard.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable with a great work ethic and housekeeping skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A solid commitment to safety
Essential
- Manual Driver’s License
- Forklift Ticket
Highly regarded but not essential
- Sound mechanical aptitude
- Experience using sand blasters, bandsaw, grinders, impact tools and other mechanical hand tools.
- Previous experience as a Trades Assistant in a mechanical workshop or similar
- Industrial painting experience
