We are seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our team on a casual basis for a 4-6 week assignment to start on Monday 12/10/2026 . This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment whilst contributing to the efficient operation of our distribution centre located in Parkinson, QLD 4115 .
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. This position offers flexibility for those seeking short-term work or looking to develop their warehouse and logistics skills in a professional setting.
Key responsibilities
- Organizing and storing products in designated locations within the warehouse, following proper inventory management procedures
- Unloading containers when needed
- Picking and packing items according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and hand trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean,
tidy and safe warehouse setting, including regular housekeeping and waste management
- Supporting the broader warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Following all health and safety protocols and company procedures at all times
What we're looking for
- Previous warehouse or similar manual handling experience is preferred but not essential
- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive lifting and carrying tasks safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and documentation
- Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Basic numeracy skills for inventory tracking and order checking
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
