Stocktake Labourers / Production Workers – Queanbeyan
We’re looking for a couple of reliable, hands‑on workers to join a well‑established window and door manufacturer in Queanbeyan and assist the team with their upcoming annual stocktake.
This is a great prospect if you enjoy practical, hands‑on work and are looking to pick up some extra hours. For the right people, there may also be opportunities for ongoing work with the business after the stocktake is completed.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working alongside the existing factory team, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the annual factory stocktake
- Counting and recording aluminium, glass and other materials
- Moving windows, doors and materials around the factory
- General labouring and manual handling
- Keeping stock organised and work areas tidy
- Assisting the production team with general tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of factory experience. We’re mainly looking for people who are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable and comfortable with manual handling
- Happy to work as part of a team
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Willing to get stuck in and help wherever required
Looking for Something Longer Term?
While the stocktake itself is a short‑term assignment, there may be opportunities for ongoing work for suitable candidates.
If you’re interested in longer‑term work, the following licences and tickets will be highly regarded:
- MR or HR Driver Licence
- White Card
- Silica Awareness Certificate
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- Forklift Ticket
