Hours of operation:
Part time, any 2 days of the week based on OT's availability 7.5 hr day time between 8.30am - 5.30pm.
About the role and culture:
Reporting to the Director you will be working to maintain and grow both new and existing client relationships. My clients look to improving independence using specialized equipment, support recovery after injury or surgery, helping with self-care routines (e.g., dressing, eating, grooming), assessment and recommendation for home modification, cognitive and sensory support for adults, workplace injury management and return-to-work support.
General Job tasks and responsibilities:
Administer occupational therapy assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, under supervision as required
Monitor, evaluate and review progress and therapy plans
Develop resources to support the programmes
Undertake appropriate professional development, including self-reflection
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic OT therapy programs
If required, undertake research into case studies and examples
Commitment to meeting client and organisational expectations
Adopt and embrace the companies values and philosophy
Ensure the environment is kept in a secure and hygienic state at all times
Commitment to work as an effective team member
Promote the company and it’s interests to the local and wider community
Ensure all communication is completed in a professional and polite manner, to all internal and external stakeholders
About you:
As an Occupational Therapist you will deliver evidence-based, person-centred services that clients to achieve meaningful outcomes. My client provides professional Occupational Therapy services in Cheltenham designed to help individuals of all ages improve independence, enhance daily living skills, and overcome physical, cognitive, or sensory challenges. They tailor every treatment plan to suit a clients unique need, whether they are recovering from an injury, living with a disability, or seeking support for everyday activities.
Key requirements:
Punctual, reliable and committed.
Have 1+ years OT experience.
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
Have transport and drivers license.
Clear, personable and professional communication, both written and spoken to internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Good computer skills required for the company practice management software.
Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
