Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 2:00pm
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Packaging Operators to join a busy food manufacturing and distribution operation based in Altona North .
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, packaging, or pick-packing experience who are looking for consistent work within a supportive team environment.
While the majority of weeks will provide 5 days of work , applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday , as some weeks may reduce to 3-4 shifts depending on operational requirements.
About the Role
Working within a chilled food production and warehouse environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Packaging and labelling products accurately and efficiently
- Working in a cold storage environment (all required PPE and protective clothing provided)
- Inspecting products and isolating damaged goods
- Using RF scanners to verify and track inventory
- Meeting daily productivity and quality targets
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Previous warehouse, packaging or pick-packing experience
- Experience working in cold storage environments (highly regarded)
- Ability to lift up to 15kg occasionally and 5kg frequently
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Reliable transport and excellent attendance record
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
