About the role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others? Ario Care’ is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in North Lakes, QLD. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

What you’ll be doing

- Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote clients’ wellbeing and community engagement
- Advocating for clients’ rights and ensuring their needs are met
- Documenting client progress, incidents, and other relevant information
- Participating in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance your professional development
- Collaborating with allied health professionals, families, and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated support

What we’re looking for

- - Completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in the disability or community services field
- Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred support to individuals with a range of disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to empowering clients and promoting their independence
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transportation
