Your role:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse tasks (receivals, dispatch, pick/pack)

• Lead a small team and keep things running smoothly

• Report directly to the owner

You’ll need:

• Warehousing experience (timber background a BIG plus)

• Common sense, reliability, and a good work ethic

• Forklift licence preferred

• Full-time availability

We’re a timber business, so anyone with experience in pack sizes, lengths, and timber handling will hit the ground running.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse workers, ensuring the efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and maintaining a secure and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse workers, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure the efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping




- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including enforcing safety procedures and conducting regular safety inspections
- Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that arise
- Continuously improve warehouse operations by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
