Worklocker Leeton
Leeton
Worklocker is a network of workwear, safety and uniform stores, with new locations opening across the country. Worklocker Leeton is locally owned, with the same owner also running Worklocker Wagga Wagga, together the two stores look after tradies, local businesses and the wider community across the MIA & Riverina. We're also the network's in-house hub for embroidery and heat press decoration, so plenty of what leaves our store goes out the door with a customer's logo on it.
About us
Worklocker is a network of workwear, safety and uniform stores, with current locations opening across the country.
The role
This is a hands-on retail role with two main parts: looking after our customers and looking after our stock. One minute you might be helping a tradie find the right pair of boots, the next you're unpacking a supplier delivery or picking an order for a local business. If you enjoy helping people, like staying busy and get satisfaction from a tidy, accurate storeroom, you'll fit right in.
How Our In-Store System Works
Everything in our store runs through Odoo, our ERP (enterprise resource planning) system. Put simply, it's the one system that connects the shop counter, storeroom, embroidery and accounting. When you make a sale at the register, create an order for a business customer, receive stock from a supplier, scan an item onto a shelf or book in an embroidery job, Odoo records it and updates our stock levels and accounts straight away.
That means the work you do at the counter, in the storeroom and on decoration jobs is always linked.
Getting each step right is what keeps our stock figures accurate and our customers' orders going out complete and on time.
You don't need to have used Odoo before. We'll train you, and if you're very comfortable with computers and systems you'll pick it up quickly.
What you'll do
Customer service
- Welcome customers in store and help them find the right workwear, footwear and safety gear
- Answer phone and email enquiries, take orders and keep customers updated on where their order is at
- Look after our business and uniform account customers
- Process sales at the register and create sales orders and invoices in Odoo
Inventory and orders
- Receive supplier deliveries and check them against what was ordered
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders using a barcode scanner
- Help with stock counts and keep the storeroom organised so everything is easy to find
- If it interests you, help out with embroidery and heat press jobs (optional, with full training provided)
What you'll bring
- Retail or customer service experience, or a genuine enjoyment of helping people
- Very comfortable with computers and systems, and quick to learn new software
- A careful eye for detail, because the right size, colour and quantity matter to our customers
- An understanding of why accurate stock and correct order picking make a difference
- A friendly, reliable and team-first attitude
Nice to have: Odoo or other ERP experience, warehouse or stockroom experience, embroidery or heat press skills, design software such as Illustrator or Canva and a background in workwear or PPE retail. None of these are essential, so please apply even if you only tick the main boxes.
Why you'll like working here
- Full training on Odoo, plus training on our embroidery and heat press equipment if you'd like to get involved
- Variety, with no two days quite the same
- Room to grow into the area that suits you best, whether that's systems, inventory or decoration
- Being part of a growing national network with a local, hometown feel
