Advanced Security Group (ASG) is seeking a reliable and professional Security Patrol Officer to join our Tamworth team delivering mobile patrol services across the region. Established in 1999, ASG is a locally founded security company with its Head Office based in Tamworth, providing professional security services across Australia. Following new ownership in December 2023, the business is continuing to grow and invest in building the region’s leading security team.

The Role

As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of client premises across Tamworth and surrounding areas.

Your duties will include:

- Conducting scheduled mobile patrols of client premises;
- Responding to alarm activations and incidents;
- Performing site lockups and unlocks;
- Completing incident reports and activity logs;
- Liaising with clients, emergency services and the ASG operations team;
- Maintaining a professional presence while representing the ASG brand.





This position operates and supports across night shifts, weekends and on-call, as part of a rotating roster of both casual and part time officers.

Required Qualifications

- NSW Security Licence – 1AC / 1A;
- Ability to pass or hold a current Police Check;
- Full working rights in Australia.

We are looking for officers who demonstrate:

- Ability to work independently and within a team setting;
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal);
- Confidence interacting with clients, emergency services and colleagues;
- Ability to follow procedures and respond to incidents calmly;
- Comfortable using phones and electronic reporting systems;
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.

The role requires reasonable physical fitness, as patrol shifts involve regular driving, stopping and completing foot patrols of client premises.

- A structured trial and patrol assessment period;
- Ongoing support from our local Tamworth operations team.
