About the Role

As a Intermediate Accountant, you will:

- Take technical responsibilities including the preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns, providing tax planning recommendations, identifying tax issues, and applying expertise in Div 7A, FBT, and CGT.
- Have active involvement in strategic management accounting tools and advice to support our growing client base.
- Contribute to the development of Graduate Accountants through on-the-job coaching.

About you

You’ll be a good fit for the Intermediate Accountant role if you have:

- Completed Bachelor of Business or Commerce (Accounting).
- Studying CA/CPA
- 2+ years of experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting
- Experienced in servicing SME clients and high net worth individuals, and you’re a gun at preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
- Intermediate to advanced software skills in accounting packages (Xero preferred) and Microsoft Office.

- Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Direct management of client portfolio will be viewed favourably.
