Your new role:
As a Pharmacy Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting safe, patient-centred pharmacy services under the supervision of experienced pharmacists by: * Supporting medication dispensing, supply and imprest distribution processes. * Assisting with delegated patient care activities and providing education on approved topics. * Working collaboratively with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team to support patient care. * Contributing to quality improvement, research, departmental activities and accurate clinical documentation. * Participating in ongoing training and development, with availability for rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required. About you:
You're a motivated pharmacy student who is eager to learn, values teamwork and is passionate about providing safe, compassionate care. You'll bring: * Current enrolment in a recognised Australian university degree program that leads to the required entry-level qualification for the advertised discipline. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. * A commitment to patient-centred care, professionalism and continuous learning. * An approach that reflects integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, engagement and excellence. * A commitment to workplace safety, quality standards and respectful, inclusive care for people from diverse backgrounds. Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
